We do not recommend removing weaves yourself, but if you do please follow the following instructions to help avoid costly hair repairs when you return for your next weave.

Tools Needed

  • Tear Comb
  • Razor Blade (Single Edge)
  • Hair Polish

 

Crown Sewing

  • Comb hair first.
  • Remove top closure.
  • With a single sided razor gently start to remove the sewn in hair from the top of your head first working in a circular pattern to the bottom of your hair line.
  • Once all the sewn in hair is removed, again with a single sided razor blade begin removing the net. Start from the top of your head working in a circular pattern to the bottom of the netting. Note: Never start from the bottom of the hair line.
  • Spray in hair polish on all braids.
  • Start removing braids from the top of your head first working in a circular pattern to the bottom of your hair line.
  • Comb hair thoroughly starting from the scalp through to the ends. Note: If hair is not combed out well tangling or dreads may occur.
  • Shampoo and condition hair thoroughly.

 

Partial Weave

  • Comb hair first.
  • With a single sided razor gently start to remove the sewn in hair from the top of your head first working in a circular pattern to the bottom of your hair line.
  • Once all the sewn in hair is removed, again with a single sided razor blade begin removing the net. Start from the top of your head working in a circular pattern to the bottom of the netting. Note: Never start from the bottom of the hair line.
  • Spray in hair polish on all braids.
  • Start removing braids from the top of your head first working in a circular pattern to the bottom of your hair line.
  • Comb hair thoroughly starting from the scalp through to the ends. Note: If hair is not combed out well tangling or dreads may occur.
  • Shampoo and condition hair thoroughly.
